ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you personally for the tutorial's explaning some thing's in terms that the ameteur can actually understand, some interesting reading and fantastic work.
I found you by looking through youtube for tutorial's on the Canon sx40 as I have just bought one and am looking to getting some shots of the moon, my favorite subject.
I have taken photo's of the moon before and I am currently waiting for a chance to see it with this camera as we have had a lot of cloudy weather and the moon hasn't been in sight.
I have seen Mars and the usual constallations, Orien being the easiest of course, but with such a short exposure time and iso locked to 100 it's pretty tricky.
I'm also considering using the CDHK to see what can and cannot be done with that, it seems harmless as it's only software oppoesed to firmware.
Thank you again, I'm following this blog and in the middle of making my own Blog page, my first blog page to be exact.
